Passau is connected to the following motorways

If you are travelling from Munich, Regensburg or Linz (in Austria) using Highway A3 or Highway A92, please take "Passau Mitte" exit and drive approximately one kilometer towards Passau. Do not cross the bridge (Franz-Josef-Strauss Bruecke), but turn right on to Regensburger Strasse and follow the river Danube for another 3 three kilometers. Pass the second bridge (Schanzlbruecke - Do not cross it) on the left side. Hotel Koenig is situated about 400 meters thereafter directly on the river banks, where the cruising lines start their voyages along the Danube.

From the railway station, only a ten minutes walk along the Danube is required to reach the Hotel Koenig. Or, you may opt for a taxi ride (fare is approximately 8 €).

Arrival by bicycle
Passau is part of the “Donauradweg”, a cycling route along the Danube from Regensburg to Vienna. The "Donauradweg" leads cyclists to Passau and our Hotel Koenig is situated directly on the route. Sightseeing, shopping areas and the old part of town are just few minutes walk away. We offer bicycle parking in our garage.
